A reminder... I will be in Chicago, at the PaganExpo this Saturday... (details are available from my webpage) Since I am flying out and back I will be off line from Thursday late night, to Sunday. My hubby will check mail, if he remembers... (I will, dear :) If any of you are in the Chicago area, this is a good chance for us to meet. Please stop by and say "Hi!" (but remember I will be in "convention" mode; remind me what list/group/planet you are from, or I will probably just look blank at you. Conventions cause brain damage... or no merchant would do them again! <g>) Kirsten |

The Current news, and a summary of events… Dad had a quintuple bypass. He recovered well until he had a platelet cell crash, from the Heparin (blood thinner). He was getting platelets, and IVIG it looked stable and under control. Then he had a bad reaction: shaking to the point of seizure, cold, etc. It was apparently a reaction to the platelets; apparently this can happen even when the blood type is ok. After that he recovered quickly again (I guess he used up his allotment of scaring his family half to death) and was finally allowed to go home on Monday, after over two and a half weeks in the hospital. He must have been feeling better, because he was complaining that entire weekend that “I could go home now” and “I feel fine”. I am currently trying to catch up on everything; I fell way behind while dad was in the hospital. Thank you all for your patience and if I have not replied to a business email, please try again. I finally felt secure enough to go out of town to an event, after canceling several while dad was still in the hospital. We all trooped up to the event hosted by Berks Pagan Alliance, way up in all that fresh air and sunshine. It was probably more needed than I realized to get out and try to relax for a day! My next event requires me to fly to Chicago for the Pagan Expo, so wish me safe travels and good sales! Your prayers and encouragement were very much appreciated, and I do ask that you keep the family in your prayers while we try to get our various lives back together.
